We currently do the Facebook and Craigslist ads. Any of you try any other forms of cheap advertising that you found effective?

I use FB a LOT. I tried Craigslist but mostly got spam and advertisers answering my ads. I do a lot of Amazon selling...the fees are higher than eBay BUT you don't pay anything unless your item sells. No listing fee, picture fees, etc, and your items stays listed until you sell it or remove it.
Low cost advertising that I do... -I have worked some trade with a couple radio stations. They give away my gift certificates as prizes and use them as live auction items and I get face value of the certificates in advertising. -I use Constant Contact. It's $35/mo (or so, depends on the # of people you have in there) for unlimited # of emails sent out. I have about 1500 ppl on the list I think, and some are only on one list, others are on multiple lists. So I can send specific emails to a specific category of people (consignors only, Bargainista Club Members only, customers only, pickers only, etc).

I know not every paper has it but our local paper has a section they call Town Talk where they usually post photo submissions like...Look who's Turning 40 or Congratulations Adam on your Promotion things. They have never denied us when we send them a fun picture of people (or our animals) dressed up with captions about sales, new inventory or other random things. It's free for us and about the only section of the paper that people always read.
