I would like to see a change in where you can give discounts on the last screen. This discount only applies to the owner. If you want to give some one a 25% discount off their purchase you have to manually figure this. If you are busy you do not have time for this.

Hi Denise. You can discount any item any percentage you would like on the "sale entry" screen. Just key in the discount amount next to the percentage symbol. The colum is called Discount By. You will see the option to fill down also. This is helpful if you are having a store wide sale. Let say...20% off. You would enter 20 in the % box on the first item. Once you have entered all items you click Fill down and it will fill in 20% on all the item you have scanned for sale. then you you just finish the sale. The discount on the last screen is great when you maybe advertise a coupon. Example $5 off with purchase of $_____. You are making an offer in this case that is part of advertising and will not affect you consignors earnings. Where the percentage discounts are shared by the store and the consignor. Hope this helps:))))

you can set up automatic discounts by date or tag color...
i used 3 different color tickets for my store. summer tickets pink, winter tickets purple and all years very high end designer clothing tickets green...at the end of each season i set up may markdowns by the color of the ticket.
example in july the pink summer tickets go down 40% in january the winter purple tickets get reduced. green ticket items never get reduced.
good luck

In the make sale screen, I give a 10% for the sale I am running in the store. And use the fill down button. When going into finish sale, the customer wants to add another item, you can not manually put 10% in, it will not take it.
