A couple of bugs that users should be aware of:
1) If an account has a negative balance and you try to Use Account Credit when making a sale you'll get a prompt that says "the account has 0 or negative balance - do you wish to continue?". Clicking "No" will cause the NEGATIVE account balance to show up in the Credit/Deposits box in the Amount Due screen. This causes the customer to be OVERCHARGED by that amount. Not good.
2) ConsignPro will allow clerks to process a payout on an account that has a negative balance. Sales clerks aren't accountants and when they go to pull up the payout and see something like (10.25) they pay the consignor 10.25. Of course the parentheses means a negative number - the consignor actually owes the store. But CP allows you to make the transaction and, worse, the account balance is now ZERO because CP recorded a positive 10.25 in the activity. So in this case you are out 10.25 you paid them plus the 10.25 they owed you to begin with.
Why is all of this important? Because negative balances are not uncommon due to the timing of payouts and item returns and because of fees applied to accounts.

Hello! Quick question, the PDF User Guide online has something funky with the text. character spacing is weird, making it almost impossible to read. I've tried it on two different computers with same problem. Is there anything I can do to get a copy that is readable?

I have a question, when I click "Make Sale" Pole Display pops up and it says Com Port COM1 not available. does anyone know what this means? Could it be because I dont have my register hooked to it yet?
